# AI use disclosure

Veridity is built with substantial help from AI tools. This file records which parts were AI-generated and which parts came from the founder. It's updated as the project grows. It exists for transparency and for competition rules that require disclosing AI use, such as the Congressional App Challenge.

## What the founder did

- Came up with the product concept and vision: an open, transparent "Palantir for the press" and "Bloomberg Terminal for public information".
- Made every product, policy, legal-risk, and spending decision during a structured design interview (2026-10-09), in which Claude asked questions and the founder chose. The decisions are listed in [docs/design/README.md](docs/design/README.md).
- Reviews and directs all work.
